Reconstructive Surgery
Reconstructive surgery primarily involves
correction of eyelid, facial and orbital
deformities that resulted from a birth defect,
injury, or removal of a tumor. It also includes
management of tumors around the eye which need
specialized care and reconstruction.
Dr Milind Naik provides exceptional oculoplastic, eyelid and facial
reconstructive surgery to patients of all ages and
offers the most advanced and innovative techniques
of facial and eyelid surgery for such conditions
as excess upper eyelid skin that obstructs vision
(blepharoplasty), eyelid ptosis (droopy eyelids),
entropion (eyelids that turn in), ectropion

Working at the Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery unit at
the prestigious LV Prasad Eye Institute in
Hyderabad, Dr Naik has the experience in handling
standard as well as complex reconstructive
challenges. He is one of the few Oculoplastic
surgeons in India who has completed formal
fellowship training in Orbito-Facial Surgery at
one of the best universities in the world, UCLA.
Dr. Naik is an expert in Minimally invasive
ophthalmic plastic surgery and Thyroid eye
disease. He is known for his innovative techniques
that modify traditionally described procedures to
achieve better results in an aesthetically
pleasing manner.
As an Oculoplastic surgeon, Dr. Naik has had
extensive experience in artistically restoring
form and function to the eyelids. However, his
experience is not restricted to the eyelids alone,
but extends to the face and neck, which has
enabled him to acquire considerable experience in
complex orbito-facial reconstructions. In addition
to his expertise in reconstructive surgery, Dr.
Naik has successfully performed hundreds of Botox
injections for the treatment of facial spasms,
blepharospasm (eyelid spasm), facial paralysis,
tearing eyes, etc in addition to its cosmetic
applications.
