The human face is one of the most complex surgical and treatment areas, and requires strong academic training to provide the best results. Dr. Naik’s training has been impressive. He first completed his MD in Ophthalmology from Christian Medical College, Vellore, one of the premiere post-graduate training institutes in India. Following that, he first focused on Oculoplastic surgery specializing in techniques of plastic surgery as it relates to the eyes and their surrounding structures such as eyelid repairs, tear duct (lacrimal) surgery, orbital tumors, and treatment of thyroid eye disease.
He then pursued further training through a second fellowship in orbitofacial Cosmetic surgery at the prestigious Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA, Los Angeles, California. This training served the right combination of appearance conscious Hollywood patients and world renowned UCLA training program, that makes him an expert in aesthetic procedures such as blepharoplasty, facelifts, endocsopic brow-lifts, midface lifts, necklifts, liposuction, fat transfer, and other cosmetic procedures of the face and neck. In addition, Dr. Naik is an expert in Minimally invasive ophthalmic plastic surgery and Thyroid eye disease. Today, he continues to innovate newer techniques to perform traditionally described procedures to achieve best results but in an aesthetically pleasing manner.

Though he started his career as an Eye Surgeon, today he concentrates fully on eye and facial plastic surgery, both cosmetic and reconstructive. Therefore, his time and expertise is not divided between cataracts and plastic surgery. Complete focus on plastic surgeries of the face has enabled him to gain more experience in this highly specialized area. He combines plastic surgery skills with the microsurgical training of ophthalmology, to bring out best results in his patients.
